In a test on past days: how far the estimate of the next official rate was from the rate that followed, each day, in ₹ per gram. Above the line means the estimate was too high, below the line too low. A filled dot means the official rate landed inside the estimate's range; a hollow diamond means it fell outside. Days before 7 October are the same method run again on past data; later days are estimates made at the time. This is a look back, not today's estimate.
